You Can Help a Soldier's Marriage

Marriage Management Consultants is a non-profit agency and approved charity for Combined Federal Campaign of North Central Texas, The State Employees Charitable Campaign and the Dallas City Campaign.

We've all seen the pictures of our soldiers returning from deployment in Iraq or Afghanistan. Happy family and friends joyfully welcome home their husband, wife, mom, or dad home from the theaters of the War on Terror.

However, these soldiers will face a demanding physical and psychological readjustment at home. Many marriages fall apart within two years after a soldier returns from war or a lengthy deployment. There are unimaginably tougher challenges for the wounded. Our primary mission is to combat the divorce rate among returning soldiers, for both regular military and reserve forces.

We ask for your help in addressing this problem. These brave soldiers have served us and our nation. Now it is our turn to help them reconnect with their families.

Marriage Management offers programs to aid married soldiers during the re-adjustment process. We bring 37 years of expertise in working with couples to strengthen their marriages. Our aim is to help our returning military personnel reestablish stable marriages and families. We offer these services for little or no cost to the soldier.

You can help. Your donations allow us to offer evening, daylong, and weekend marriage programs to the soldiers. Because MMC Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization, your donations may be tax deductible.

Please help our soldiers avoid the hidden casualty of this war – divorce. You can say thank you for their service in this special, meaningful way.

• $5,000 sponsors 10 couples to attend a weekend marriage renewal retreat.
• $500 sponsors a soldier and spouse for a weekend marriage retreat.
• $100 pays for a soldier and spouse to attend an eight-hour relationship enrichment program.
• $50 pays for special program workbooks for a soldier and spouse.
• ANY DONATION, no matter how small, can be used to by supplies, books or deliver these needed programs to our soldiers and their families.

You may send an anonymous thank you note with your donation, and we will deliver your note to the soldiers when they complete the program.
